Macro Pharmaceuticals was established in 2002 by two 20-year industry veterans and is the market-leading cosmeceutical (medicalised cosmetics) player in Egypt. The Company currently markets its products to doctors in Egypt through a wide product portfolio across seven therapeutic areas.

Macro Pharmaceuticals specializes in the production and sale of its proprietary lines of advanced cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products, developed with the backing of science and research. The Company sits at the crossroads between the personal-care and generic-pharma spaces, benefiting from being regulated similar to cosmetics, yet distributed through medical representatives similar to pharmaceuticals.

Macro operates from its production facility in Badr City, Cairo and exports to nine markets across MENA and Africa with a regional office in Dubai.
